I Tried 5 Top Anti-Aging Products So You Don’t Have To—Here’s What I Found
Anti-aging products are everywhere, and sorting through them to find which actually work can get overwhelming. And as much as I like to embrace my aging skin, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with using products to keep it looking vibrant along the way.
So in my quest to give my skin a youthful glow, I’ve spent hours scouring the internet, trying the ever-so-trending face yoga routines, and buying countless products recommended by celebrities and magazines.
I’ve done the work so you don’t have to. Here are my faves:
1. Michael Todd Knú Serum

My skin loves the Michael Todd Knú Serum. I instantly noticed how hydrating it was and woke up with smooth, firm, and glowy skin. After using it for a couple of weeks, I noticed a visible reduction in the appearance of “11” lines and crow’s feet. It’s 5x sold out (!!!), and leaves out fillers, parabens, and synthetics.
The standout ingredients:
- Snail mucin (harvested humanely): works to visibly hydrate, reduce inflammation, and promote collagen.
- Aloe vera: works to sooth and hydrate
- Peptides: Helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve the appearance of texture, firmness, elasticity, and pores.
- Cranberry and botanical extracts: works to reduce appearance of hyperpigmentation
Basically, it’s a face-lift in a bottle. When I say my skin appeared brighter and rejuvenated in just four weeks, I mean it. I subscribed to a three month supply for just $177 ($59 per bottle – SO much cheaper than most serums I’ve tried), and they even threw in a travel bag and Soniclear face & body brush for free. Shipping is always free!
Here’s what others have to say about Michael Todd’s Knú Serum:
2. Lancôme Génifique Night Cream

The Génifique Night Cream from Lancôme is a rich, white cream that penetrates the skin with prebiotics, hyaluronic acid, and a triple ceramide complex. It helps protect the skin barrier overnight and can help lock-in hydration for up to 72 hours—all without leaving a greasy residue.
As someone who needs extra hydration in the winter months, this product is a great choice. I woke up looking refreshed, and my skin didn’t flake from being dry. It’s a bit more expensive at $95.
3. Estée Lauder Revitalizing Supreme+ Creme

Estée Lauder’s Revitalizing Supreme+ Creme melts into my skin for deep moisture, but it leaves a bit of a greasy residue.
It contains moringa oleifera seed extract to boost anti-aging activity, hyaluronic acid for deep hydration, and opuntia tuna extract to strengthen the moisture barrier. This creme comes at a luxury price point of $103, but it has an $88 refill option which keeps the packaging waste to a minimum.
4. La Mer Moisturizing Soft Cream

The La Mer Moisturizing Soft Cream helps prevent and reduce the look of aging by boosting the lipid barrier. It contains La Mer’s signature Miracle Broth from giant sea kelp, liquid crystal technology, and lime tea extract to protect the skin.
A little goes a long way with this one. I definitely felt it sink into my skin, and my face appeared more radiant, but I got hung up on the price. It’s $380 for a 2oz jar. Personally, I find this to be a bit much when other products have helped my skin for less.
5. Shiseido Advanced Super Revitalizing Cream

This dermatologist-tested cream can be worn day or night for instant hydration. It diminishes the appearance of fine lines and boosts elasticity with classic ingredients like super bio-hyaluronic acid, raspberry extract, and rose apple leaf extract.
It’s also priced competitively at $85. But while I like its ingredients, it’s not my fave. I find myself reaching for other products first.
The final verdict: My skin loves Michael Todd’s Knú Serum

In the midst of all the anti-aging products out there, my skin loves the Michael Todd Knú Serum the best. The blend of advanced ingredients makes my skin appear younger and brighter—more than any of the other products I’ve tried.
So if you’re looking to embrace your aging skin while giving it a well-deserved boost, this serum will be your new best friend!
